Welcome Aaron...

...and bring on the hot cheetos!!

Well folks, Aaron Kueck finally made it to this interesting foreign little country I've called "home" for the past 6 months. We met up in Busan Sunday night for dinner and he presented me with a big ole' bag of hot cheetos (thanks E2)...my all time favorite snack. I opened them immediately and ate hand fulls until my fingers were stained red with the spicy seasoning. It didn't seem strange to see him until we were stuffing our faces with chicken and rice when it hit me...I was eating with Ace...in Korea..and he was going to be living here!! Excitement overwhelmed me (only momentarily)...I was very hungry

Anyway, yesterday I didn't have to work until 5 so I decided to be productive and Lewis & Clark my way around some of the foothills near my apartment. After 2.5 hours I felt refreshed and my mind was clear...I went home and FINISHED MY BAG OF HOT CHEETOS. I understand that this binge may have thwarted my attempts of being healthy but I was not one to be reasoned with. I was like that kid who had crumbs all over my face and smashed up pieces within a 2 foot radius of my being.

  1. Great story and I wish I was coming to Korea to teach. I'm in the middle too...4 months gone, 4 months to go in the fields. And there's talk of extending it but I'm contra today.
